Pneumatics

Project Type

Pneumatic Motion

Location

UNC Chapel Hill

Date

March 2024

The specifics of the play demanded that this credenza be able to flip its top to change set dressing and conceal a light until needed. This was achieved with pneumatic pistons. The linear force was translated into rotational force via a series of gear translations for the flip top and left linear for the sliding front doors.
