The director asked for a "large slug" for a dinner sequence. This slug was carved from laminated 2" extruded polystyrene. The eyestalks were made from shaped Loctite formed over top of wooden dowels The shape and paint is based on research of leopard slugs. It was sealed with gloss polycrylic.
